Desktop Calendar is a program that provides access to your scheduled events in a convenient and simple manner
Windows 7 / Windows Vista / Windows XP / Windows 8
As its name indicates, Desktop Calendar is an application that integrates a calendar into your computer's desktop. You can use it to make your days more organized. This program extends the functionality of your operating system by adding a full-featured calendar that you may directly view and edit from the desktop. It includes important anniversaries and festivals, and you can add your own reminders.
Desktop Calendar provides a simple graphical user interface where you can access every feature that the program offers. You can customize it to blend in with the rest of your desktop. For example, you may change the font, background color, level of transparency and space between cells. You can adjust the transparency level so that you see other items on your desktop through the calendar. If you find this distracting, you may readjust this setting to increase the calendar's opacity.
Recording a memo is as easy as double-clicking on a relevant date to open the event text editor. This allows you to directly enter and save a reminder. The words you type will appear on the appropriate calendar cell on your desktop. To make them more visible, simply change the color of the cell.
You will be able to easily review the information that you record and reduce the risk that you'll forget an important event. However, some users may not be comfortable with this feature; anyone with access to the desktop can read the records. The only solution is to temporarily disable the calendar so that it doesn't appear on your desktop.
There are buttons at the top of the program interface that you may use to change the current month or modify the program's general appearance. If you want to access more options or fully customize the application, click on the icon in the system tray.
This intuitive software makes it easy to manage things like appointments, to-do lists and schedules.
